Time flies, and I can't believe that 25 years of friendship has led me to this maternity photo session. I could not be happier to take maternity pictures on this beautiful Spring day for a friend and father to be as well as his beautiful better half!! Golden hour is the last hour of light before the sunset, which serves as the best backdrop for taking family portraits at any location. Needless to say, when I ended up at Arnold Arboretum park an hour before the sunset, with a beautiful family in front of me, I felt really fortunate. Kids had a lot of fun, smiling, chasing each other and taking turns riding a bike and posing for some pictures on an antique red toy car. Therefore, my job was really limited to observing and pressing the button on my cameras to capture this timeless images. Stylish, Fun, Beautiful, Unforgettable, are just a few adjectives that come to mind when I am thinking about a memorable Bat Mitzvah that I got to document today. At the same time, the fact that I did a couple of family photo sessions for this beautiful family, and watched them grow over the years brings me some extra joy! We started out today with some traditional family formals by the Bima and smoothly transitioned into an unforgettable ceremony with songs, prayers, music and a little mysticism of the Jewish tradition that gets passed down from parents to kids through many generations. After the ceremony, it was time to party, and party people did!! Perfect fall day was waiting for us at Larz Anderson Park!! Luckily, I was meeting a beautiful family which I was fortunate to photograph over the past couple of years.
