I knew that my retro red bike will be a hit with the kids, and getting them to share was a bit of a challenge. Baby M. and baby G. were politely taking turns riding it around beautiful Wellesley College campus, that is until big boy (also known as dad) Ilya decided to show everyone how it really should be done :) Putting the bike sharing moments aside, I really feel that we lucked out with the weather and fully took advantage of the foliage settings before the cold weather set in. Having a cloudy warm overcast day at the end of October, is really a treat for me as a photographer as well as the families involved in a family photo session :) Needless to say everyone had a good time, and I was able to take advantage of a perfect opportunity to capture countless smiles, hugs and candid moments :) Dear Lida and Ilya, thank you very much for choosing RaskinStudio to document your family this fall. When foliage season comes to New England in full swing, Wellesley College campus turns into a magnificent backdrop for family photo sessions, and this cloudy warm day did not disappoint. It was a special treat, as I got to catch up with baby M. after our first session almost a year ago to the date. It was great catching him smile, laugh and enjoy beautiful colorful leaves on the trees and on the ground. When life sends you lemons, use them to make some awesome lemonade, which is what we did when our original photo session date at beautiful Welleley College Campus got rained out. We rescheduled for the next non-rainy day, and it definitely did not disappoint. Braving some chilly morning weather, we were able to take advantage of the morning "golden hour" in addition to close to peak foliage conditions. What else can a photographer wish during a fall session in New England!!
